SENIOR YEAR (2000-01)—A finalist for the Hobey Baker Award … First-team Titan All-America ... First-team ECAC All-Star ... ECAC - Best Defensive Defenseman ... The overall top scoring defenseman in the ECAC and Clarkson’s second leading scorer with a team-high 28 assists along with six goals for 34 points …Was the second-leading scoring defenseman in the ECAC (5-16-21) … Clarkson co-captain … Had nine multiple-point games, including two three-assist outings … Collected three assists in Clarkson’s title-clinching weekend sweep (3/2-3) … Named ECAC/CCM Player of the Week (1/15) and was chosen to ECAC Honor Roll (11/20) … Posted 78 career points (15-63) through 135 games …  A four-time Three Star selection, including two First Star honors.

JUNIOR YEAR (1999-00)—A first-team ECAC All-Star ... Tallied 18 points (2-16) through 28 games ... Missed the first games of his career sitting out seven games with injuries, including six straight in February ... Named to the ECAC Honor Roll (1/17) after recording four assists and anchoring a stingy defensive performance in the Knights’ weekend sweep of Harvard (1/14) and Brown (1/15) … Set-up three goals in 5-2 win over the Crimson and helped Clarkson limit the Bears to just 14 shots in 4-1 triumph … Tallied first goal of the season, a power play marker, in 4-3 loss at Colgate (11/19) … Also scored in 5-2 win over Princeton (2/4) … Chosen as Clarkson's Best Defensive-Defenseman.

SOPHOMORE YEAR (1998-99)—One of the most underrated defenseman in college hockey... Was named Clarkson’s Unsung Hero ... Jumped into the spotlight with back-to-back winning goals in the ECAC Quarterfinal sweep of Brown (3/12-13), including the overtime winner in the first game just 55 seconds into the extra session ... Scored his third straight goal in 6-5 victory over Princeton (3/19) in the ECAC Semifinals ... Three of his five goals came in the postseason ... Sure handed, reliable and rarely got beat ... Excelled in all facets of the game ... Valuable shorthanded player ... Finished with 16 points, including 11 assists ... Recorded a career-high three assists in 8-2 victory at Yale (2/19) ... Scored one goal and one assist in 5-4 win over St. Lawrence (1/23).

FRESHMAN YEAR (1997-98)—The only freshman to have skated in all 35 games ... A very smart rookie defenseman who played like a seasoned veteran ... Scored two goals and eight assists and had the second best plus/minus ranking on the Knights at +21 ... ECAC All-Rookie Team - Honorable Mention ... Scored first collegiate goal in 4-3 win over St. Lawrence (11/15) and also collected a goal in 5-4 win at Vermont (1/17) ... Posted two assists in 6-1 win over Colgate (3/6) ... Tallied one assist in quarterfinal sweep of Vermont (3/13-14).

BEFORE CLARKSON—One of the premier defenseman in the Central Junior Hockey League (CJHL) ... Played 53 regular season games for the champion Kanata Valley Lasers, guided by head coach Archie Mulligan, scoring 47 points on 11 goals and 37 assists along with 89 penalty minutes in 1996-97 ... Tallied four goals and 11 assists in 23 postseason games ... 1996-97 Kanata Valley Lasers Scholastic Player of the Year.

PERSONAL—Son of Bonnie and Leslie Huskins ... Born May 4, 1979 ... Shoots left ... Business major ... A sixth-round 1998 NHL Draft choice of the Chicago Blackhawks (156th overall) ...
