AT CLARKSON—Perhaps the fastest skater to ever grace the Cheel Arena ice … Played just two seasons of collegiate hockey before skating with Team USA in the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway … Then went on to a lengthy professional career in the National Hockey League … Helped the Golden Knights compile 42 wins and advance to two NCAA Tournaments and win one ECAC Tournament championship title in Lake Placid … A definite game breaker and dangerous offensive force, who excelled in specialty teams play … Recorded 78 points on 38 goals and 40 assists in 66 games with the Green and Gold from 1991-93.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (1992-93)—Clarkson’s second leading scorer with 18 goals and 28 assists for 46 points in 33 games … Scored six power-play goals, three game-winning markers and one shorthanded tally … Recorded nine multiple-point games, including five points (2-3) in 9-0 win over Union (2/20) … Notched game-winning goal and added an assist in 3-1 triumph over Brown in ECAC Tournament championship game … Selected to ECAC All-Tournament team … A second-team ECAC All-Star … Named to the ECAC weekly Honor Roll three times.
