-Elson Pickering averaged 18.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in a pair of wins this week. He shot 56 percent from the floor and 88 percent from the free throw line. He also blocked five shots.

Women's Basketball
Michelle Riddinger 
Senior, Forward - Baldwinsville, NY

-Michelle Reddinger averaged 13.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game over the course of three contests in the opening week. She shot 52.0 percent from the floor and also contributed four blocks.

Men's Swimming
Sean Parnett 
Freshman - Clifton Park, NY

-Sean Parnett slipped 12 seconds of his seeding time to win the 200 butterfly in 2:06.24 at the North Country Invitational at Potsdam this weekend.

Men's Hockey
Paul Karpowich
Sophomore, Goal - Thunder Bay, ONT

- Paul Karpowich was the difference maker in Clarkson’s three-point weekend. He was in top form, keeping the Knights in both games, despite being outplayed on the road. He combined for 76 saves in the two games, finishing with a .951 save percentage and allowed just two even-strength goals.  He posted 35 stops in the come-from-behind 3-2 victory at Dartmouth on Friday, including 14 saves in the third period. The following night at Harvard, he turned in a 41-save effort, including 27 stops through the first 40 minutes, to keep Clarkson close before the Knights rallied with two late scores to gain a 2-2 tie. Karpowich was named First Star in both games.
