From modest beginnings when the team played just a single game (a victory) in 1953, the Clarkson University Men's Soccer program has grown in its close to 70-year history. The Golden Knights have reached the NCAA Tournament four times (1980, 1988, 1993, 1998), including an appearance in the national semifinals back in 1993. Several standouts have earned All-American honors over the years, beginning with Kwasi Poku back in 1968 and most recently James Homan in 2018.
