At the Clarkson vs St. Lawrence Hockey game at Cheel Arena on November 20, Golden Knight head coach George Roll (left), Sheri Norman of North Country Savings Bank and Saints head coach Joe Marsh (far right) presented a check from the SLU-Tech Scramble for $4,000 to Potsdam Junior Hockey President Jeff Bunstone.
The SLU-Tech Scramble for Minor Hockey is an annual golf tournament whose proceeds are divided between the Potsdam and Canton Junior Hockey programs. The Tournament, held each June, is made possible by the many contributions of major sponsor North Country Savings Bank, the Clarkson University and St. Lawrence University Hockey programs, and many local businesses. In the past 10 years the Tournament has donated $80,000 dollars to thejunior hockey programs of Potsdam and Canton.
