February 14, 2010
Students at John F Kennedy Elementary in Ogdensburg, NY show their appreciation for the Clarkson University Men's and Women's Hockey teams after the Golden Knights came to the school last week. Carlee Eusepi and Britney Selina (back row center in photo) for the women's team spoke to the entire school about their experience as Division 1 student-athletes and how they balance academics and athletics.  They also spoke about playing the U.S. Women's Olympic Hockey team as ECAC Hockey All-Stars. Several members of the men's team played some of the school's Olympic events with the kids and spoke to them about where they are from.  Lauri Tuohimaa specifically spoke to the classrooms that represented his home country of Finland as well as Sweden and Norway.  Tuohimaa taught the kids to say their names in Finnish and Swedish. -      Photo by Tom Pinkerton
