Junior Alex Giovannone (New Hartford, NY) pitched a spotless seven and one-third innings against the University of Rochester in the Clarkson Baseball team's third game of the Liberty League Tournament on May 15. Giovannone helped extend Clarkson's shutout streak in the Liberty League Tournament against Rochester to 19 consecutive innings. The Golden Knights finished second at the tournament, the fifth time in eight seasons that Clarkson has played in the final round of the conference championship.
