Alex Benway

Alex Benway put in a strong showing at the 2011 NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championship held at St. Lawrence University on Saturday morning with a Top 10 finish. Benway covered the 8,000-meter course in a time of 25:25.4 for an eight-place showing. With his strong showing Benway qualifies for the NCAA Division III Championships in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on November 19.

Adrienne Walker
Freshman, Middle Hitter - Centennial, Co


Adrienne Walker helped lead the Golden Knights to a 1-1 weekend at the NCAA New York Regional, striking for 12 kills (1.71 per set), but more importantly the first-year player had eight aces (four in each match), six blocks, and nine digs.

Mike Rowe
Senior - Glenville, NY
 

Mike Rowe took home first-place finishes in three events as the Golden Knights' men handily defeated St. Michael's, 176-108, on Saturday. Rowe started off the day for the men's individuals with a first-place finish in the 1000 freestyle, winning with ease in 10:44.58. He claimed two more victories on the day, winning the 100 backstroke (55.89) and 200 backstroke (2:01.31).

Paul Karpowich
Senior, Goaltender- Thunder Bay, ONT
 

Paul Karpowich  aaaallowed just one even-strength goal in weekend action on the road. Posted a season-high 43 saves in 1-1 tie at Quinnipiac on Friday, followed by 28 more in 3-0 loss (empty-net goal)at Princeton.

Women's Hockey
Erica Howe
Sophomore, Goaltender - Ottawa, ONT


Erica Howe was perfect on the weekend in leading Clarkson to the sweep at home. Posted 27 saves in 3-0 win over Quinnipiac, including 15 first-period stops. Turned aside all 26 shots, including 16 in the second period, in the tight 1-0 win over Princeton. Backstopped Clarkson's perfect weekend penalty-kill (10-10) with 15 saves while the Knights were a man down.
