 Golden Knights’ 100-Point Club, Patrice Robitaille was a key component in the Green and Gold’s high-scoring offenses in the early 1990s. Through 135 career games from 1991-95, the Ste. As a senior captain during the 1994-95 campaign, Robitaille helped to lead the Green and Gold to a 23-10-4 overall record, the ECAC regular season title with a 14-5-3 league mark and another berth in the NCAA Tournament, where he scored two goals in the 5-4 loss to Lake Superior State in his final collegiate game. Robitaille was selected as Clarkson's Bill Harrison Most Valuable Player Award winner as a senior and was named a second-team ECAC All-Star in 1994-95.

Nickname(s) while a Golden Knight: ROBY

Years Played/Position: 1991-1995/Left Wing

Clarkson Major: Management

Why did you decide to choose Clarkson:
It was an easy decision because Clarkson was the only team who offered me a scholarship.  Clarkson University was a perfect fit for me.  They gave me the opportunity to attend a great school, and get a degree while playing for one of the best College teams in the country.

Favorite Clarkson Hockey moment(s):
Winning the ECAC Tournament in Lake Placid in 1993, Winning the league title in 1995 and going to the NCAA tournaments

Most Memorable Clarkson teammate(s):
I certainly enjoyed all my teammates while at Clarkson, but I can’t forget all the time I spent with my classmates Brian Mueller, Todd Marchant and Marko Tuomainen. Three of my best friends are old Clarkson teammates (Martin d’Orsonnens, Dave Green and Chris Rogles).  We have met together for a weekend the past twelve years and since competed on the golf course for the CAN-AM Cup.

Favorite Team to gain a victory over, why:
By far St-Lawrence because of the rivalry, but beating Cornell or Vermont in their own buildings was also a lot of fun.

Favorite Arenas to Play in:
Nothing better than playing at Cheel with a sell-out crowd.  Vermont and Cornell were also fun places to play.

Favorite Class/Professor(s): I had many good teachers, but the names that I remember at this moment are Professor Ross, O’Brien and Janero.

Favorite memories of Potsdam, North Country:
I have so many.  First, this is where I met my wife Stacy.  Stacy attended Potsdam and we met our senior year.  We always enjoy coming back for a visit with our three boys. I also have found memories of all the people I met during my time at school.  The students I met in class or in my dorm, people working at Cheel, my teachers, the athletic department, our booster club, our fans and finally in the town of Potsdam.

Where did you live when attending Clarkson:
Ross my Freshman year, Riverside for two years and Townhouses my Senior year

What did you do after Clarkson:
Played Professional hockey for five years and retired in 2000

What are you doing now:
The owner of a small consulting firm, Wendake Consulting, LLC and the Managing Member of Keystone Material Testing, LLC in Binghamton, NY.

Family: My wife Stacy, Alex (12), Curtis (8) and Owen (6)

Current Hometown: Endwell, New York

Hobbies: Hockey, Golf, Travel

Any other interesting things about you, or your family you would like to add:
The last three years my wife and I have brought our boys hockey team to play a game against a Potsdam team.  While in Potsdam, the kids are getting a tour of Cheel arena, they meet the coaches/players and watch an evening game of the Golden knights.  By the time the kids are leaving Potsdam they all have hats or something saying Clarkson and their dream is to play here some day!
