There have been many legendary figures in the rich tradition of Clarkson Baseball, including inaugural Clarkson Athletic Hall of Fame inductees Hank Hodge and Jack Phillips, but no coach has guided the Golden Knights to more victories than Jim Kane. After recently completing his 11th season guiding the Green and Gold, Kane has amassed an overall record of 219-188 for a winning percentage of .538. During his tenure, which began with the 2001 campaign, his teams have won 20-or-more games in a season eight times. Kane has led the Knights to an ECAC Upstate NY Tournament crown (2001), a Liberty League regular-season title (2004), a pair of conference tournament championships (2009, 2011) and Clarkson’s first ever appearances in the NCAA Tournament (2009, 2011). - photo by Gary Mikel
