AT CLARKSON (1996-2000)—A productive offensive-minded defenseman who played a key role in the Golden Knights’ success during the late 1990s … An excellent playmaker with great puck-handling skills who recorded 77 career points, including 53 assists through 144 games … Clarkson won two ECAC Hockey Regular Season titles (1996-97 and 1998-99), won a conference tournament championship (1999) and made three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (1997, 1998, 1999) with Roy in the lineup.
SENIOR YEAR (1999-2000)–Played a key role on Clarkson’s dynamic defensive corps with 17 points, including 14 assists through 33 games … First goal of the season was an unassisted marker in 3-3 tie at Princeton (11/6) … Opened the scoring in Clarkson’s 5-4 victory over Dartmouth at Cheel Arena (3/3) … Also scored at Cornell (11/20) … Set up six goals in weekend sweep on the road with four assists in 6-5 triumph at Brown (2/18) and followed with two more helpers in 5-4 victory at Harvard (2/19) … Opened season with two assists in one-goal loss at nationally-ranked North Dakota (10/30).

SOPHOMORE YEAR (1997-98)–Enjoyed a solid sophomore season with 24 points (9-15) through 33 games … Skated the last 22 games at his accustom blueline position after filling in at forward at the start of the season … Tallied a power-play goal in ECAC Semifinal win over Harvard (3/20) … Scored nine points (2-7) in last seven games of the regular season … Scored one goal in 6-1 win over Colgate (3/6) … Posted two assists each in wins at Brown (2/27) and Harvard (2/28) to earn ECAC Honor Roll mention for the second time of the season … Provided solid two-way play … Tallied three goals and one assist in weekend sweep of Vermont (2/6) and Dartmouth (2/7), including two goals and one assist against the Big Green … Notched three power-play goals.
FRESHMAN YEAR (1996-97)–Started the season as a defenseman, but played the last 16 games at center … Was a bright spot up front after returning to the lineup in late January after missing four games recovering from a shoulder injury … Tallied an assist in his first game back, an 8-3 win at St. Lawrence (1/25) … Scored two power-play goals in 5-1 win over Rensselaer (2/8) to earn ECAC Rookie of the Week honors … Added another man-advantage goal in 2-1 overtime victory at Princeton (2/14) ...
