FINAL BOX

In the final set of the match, Clarkson trailed throughout until tying the score at 19-19 and then earning the go-ahead point at 20-19. However, Skidmore was able to force extra points before faltering at the end, 29-27. Sara Artus had 13 kills, 8 digs, and 4 blocks for Clarkson, with Lani Durio adding 36 assists and 12 digs for the Knights. Freshman Adrienne Walker also contributed 10 kills for Clarkson. Skidmore had a well-rounded offensive attack with Carolyn Bottelier leading the squad with 8 kills, 11 assists, and 8 digs. Mallory Mendelsohn led the team with 15 assists, and Sam Friedman produced 11 digs.  

Court 2: Union (8-7, 0-1 LL) vs. St. Lawrence (10-8, 2-2 LL)

St. Lawrence's leaders were Liz Grogan with a .424 hitting percentage (17-3-33) and Nyasha Miller with 15 kills. Anna Kassab came through with 48 assists and 10 digs. Miller had a team-best 24 digs, leading five players in double figures.

Three Skidmore players finished in double figures for kills as the Thoroughbreds outlasted Vassar in five sets. Elise Finnerty has 16 kills with four errors for Skidmore, while Corinne Palmer added a .588 hitting percentage (11-1-17) and Kelley Vershbow contributed 12 kills. Carolyn Bottelier had a double-double with 28 assists and 11 digs, as did Mallory Mendelsohn with 21 assists and 12 digs. Sam Friedman led Skidmore with 27 digs. For Vassar, Amy Bavosa had a match-high 17 kills and also tossed in 10 digs. Hilary Koenigs produced 42 assists as well as three aces and 12 digs, and Marie Petrie produced 10 kills with a .474 hitting percentage.
