Dave Seitz (center), a standout for the highly successful Clarkson Hockey teams in the mid-1990s, was recently inducted into the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) Hall of Fame. Seitz played in 489 games over eight seasons with the South Carolina Stingrays and ranks sixth in ECHL history with 384 assists, 10th with 587 points and 19th with 217 goals. The Buffalo, New York, native was part of the Stingrays’ 1997 and 2001 Kelly Cup championship teams and was named Most Valuable Player of the 2001 Kelly Cup Playoffs after leading the postseason with 15 assists and 28 points and tying for the lead with 13 goals.

From 1992-1996, Seitz skated in 128 games for the Golden Knights and recorded 45 goals and 60 assists for 105 points.
