Women's Hockey
Erin Ambrose

Freshman, Defenseman - Keswick, ONT


The top scoring defenseman in the country, Erin Ambrose tallied six points and provided strong play on the blueline as 4th-ranked Clarkson swept Union (6-0) and RPI (6-2) over the weekend. She set up two goals in Friday’s win over the Dutchwomen, and scored a power-play goal and added three assists for a four-point effort in Saturday’s victory over the Engineers. Ambrose, who is averaging a Div. I-high of 1.88 ppg from the blueline, quarterbacks the Knights’ #1-ranked power play.

Sarah Governale
Sophomore - Wading River, NY


Sarah Governale was the Golden Knights' top runner at the 2012 Liberty League Championship held at Clarkson University on October 27. Governale covered the 6,000-meter women's course in a time of 23:04 to finish in 13th place, earning second-team Liberty League honors.

Adrienne Walker
Sophomore, Middle Hitter - Centennial, CO


In a 4-1 week, Adrienne Walker enjoyed a tremendous all-around effort, striking for 42 kills (2.21 per set) with a .304 hitting percentage, producing 13 aces (0.68 per set), contributing 17 blocks (0.89 per set) and also tossing in 13 digs (0.68 per set).

James Howden

Sophomore, Defenseman - Edgeley, SASK


James Howden's second goal of the season, a quick shot from the top of the left circle early in the third period, enabled the Golden Knights to earn a 4-4 tie with Niagara on Saturday night.



Swimming
Nick Short

Sophomore - Endwell, NY


In a tri-meet against WPI and Vassar, Nick Short had three top-three finishes. He placed second in both the 200 butterfly (2:11.24) and 200 individual medley (2:07.62) and was third in the 100 butterfly (56.46).
