Adrienne Walker
Sophomore, Middle Hitter - Centennial, CO


Adrienne Walker was named the Most Outstanding Player at the NCAA Div. III NY Regionals this past weekend at Alumni Gymnasium. In the championship match victory over New Paltz, Walker had 18 kills and just four errors in 37 swings. The Golden Knights improved to 31-6 overall and will move on to national quarterfinals to be held at Hope College in Holland, MI,

Greg Lewis

Freshman, Goaltender - Mars, PA


Greg Lewis backstopped Clarkson to a three-point weekend on the road to start league play. He posted Clarkson's first victory of the season, shutting out high-powered Yale with 22 saves in New Haven on Friday night to earn a hard-fought 1-0 victory. He followed with 27 saves in the tie at Brown on Saturday.

Carly Mercer

Junior, Forward - Exeter, ONT


Carly Mercer, Clarkson's captain, led the third-ranked Knights to another weekend sweep. Mercer scored both Clarkson goals in Saturday's 2-1 win over Brown. She also help to set up the game-winner in Friday's 4-1 victory over Yale.


Cross Country
Dan Fritz

Junior - Cicero, NY 


Dan Fritz led Clarkson at the 2012 NCAA Division III Atlantic Regionals held at Genesee Valley Park on Saturday. Fritz finished in 41st overall among 297 runners, 1:10 off the pace set by the winner in the 8,000-meter event, in 26:24.0.

Sam Zagrobelny

Freshman, Freestyle - East Aurora, NY


Sam Zagrobelny's two winning events in the meet against St. Michael's on Saturday at Fuller Pool were split by a diving competition. The freshman nevertheless hit the pad first in his two individual events, taking the 200 individual medley in 2:26.65 before claiming first in the 100 butterfly in 1:04.34.
