Chrissy Scanlon of the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team was chosen as a Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America District 3 First-Team member this winter, becoming the first Golden Knights' hoopster to earn the honor since 2007. The 6-0 senior forward from Queensbury, NY sports a 3.89 grade-point average in biology at Clarkson. Named Liberty League All-Star Honorable Mention as a junior, Scanlon is a three-time Liberty League All-Academic team member and has been selected for Dean's List and President's List every semester since her freshman year. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Psi business society and Tri Beta (National Biological Honor Society). In her playing career she recorded 578 career points, 396 rebounds and 33 blocks through 91 games.
