ATHLETES of the WEEK - September 23, 2012

	Volleyball Victoria Kirkemo Freshman, Outside Hitter - Englewood, CO Victoria Kirkemo struck for 46 kills over the week (3.54 per set) to lead the Golden Knights to a 4-0 week and its fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth consecutive wins overall. She also added 34 digs (2.62 per set), five aces and four blocks, including three solo blocks to earn Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors for the second consecutive time.

	Golf Mike Mailhot Senior - Massena, NY Mike Mailhot was Clarkson's most consistent performer all weekend at the Liberty League Qualifier, shooting a 78 and a 77 on back-to-back days to lead the Golden Knights at the par-71 Kingswood Golf Course. Mailhot finished in a tie for 21st among 49 golfers with a score of 155.

	Cross Country Sarah Governale Sophomore - Wading River, NY Sarah Governale placed sixth among 97 runners to pace the Clarkson University Women's effort at the Airfield Invitational on Saturday, which was held at Fortin Park and hosted by SUNY Oneonta. Governale ran the 6,000-meter event in 23 minutes, 43 seconds.

	Men's Soccer Marco Parisi Freshman, Midfield - Guilford, CT Marco Parisi capitalized on a Hobart turnover to score the Golden Knights' lone goal against the Statesmen in Geneva on Saturday.
