ATHLETES of the WEEK - April 7, 2013

	Men's Lacrosse Brendon Shearin Senior, Midfielder - Goffstown, NH Brendon Shearin helped lead the Golden Knights to a 2-0 week with a non-league victory over Oswego State (13-12) and a conference win over Union College (8-6). Against the Lakers Shearin scored four goals on eight shots and versus the Dutchmen he added three more scores on seven shots. The senior midfielder currently leads the team in goals scored with 17 and ranks ninth in the conference in that category (1.7 gpg).
	Women's Lacrosse Christine Wright Freshman, Attack - Watertown, NY Christine Wright  had another huge week and was named as the Liberty League's Rookie of the Week  for the fourth time this season. Wright, who has helped lead the Knights to a 8-2 start, already the largest victory total in program history, scored 10 goals and assisted on five others in a 2-1 week for Clarkson. In a loss at St. Lawrence, Wright scored four goals and added five draw controls and two groundballs in the three-goal defeat. However, her biggest performances were held for the weekend when Clarkson swept a pair of road games at Vassar and Bard. Versus Vassar, she had five points on two goals and three assists as well as seven draw controls, and against Bard she had six points on four goals and two assists.
	Baseball Bryan Chudy Senior, Pitcher - Goshen, NY Bryan Chudy allowed just four hits over seven innings for his first complete-game victory of the season as the Golden Knights defeated RIT 2-1 in the opening game of Sunday's doubleheader at Jack Phillips Stadium at Snell Field. Chudy moved into a tie for third all-time at Clarkson with his 17th win, and pushed up to fifth all-time in strikeouts.
