Although the team has played at Snell Field for decades, going back to the days when Route 11 was nothing more than a dirt road between Potsdam and Canton, the facility has seen considerable upgrades in recent years. Dugouts, permanent fencing, a skinned infield, an inning-by-inning scoreboard and other additions have been made in the last two decades. What remains, however, is the old school grandstand behind home plate, a concrete and wooden structure that harkens back to the early days of spectatorship at sporting venues. The field was rechristened Jack Phillips Stadium at Snell Field in May 2008 in honor of the Clarkson University Athletic Hall of Famer who was a standout athlete and later spent a quarter century as the team's coach.
