SENIOR YEAR (2023-24): Kaelen will return for a COVID 5th Graduate Season…Kaelan will be one of the captains this season for the Knights…skated in 34 games scoring 1 goal and adding 5 assists…Selected as the Fran Nerigan award winner ...Named ECAC All Academic

JUNIOR YEAR (2022-23):  Kaelen lead the team academically last year and was honored this season by being awarded the Terry Yurkiewicz '66 Memorial Hockey Endowed Scholarship, which was established to financially support a Clarkson Men's hockey player, who exhibits the character and dedication both in the classroom and on the ice that was the embodiment of Terry Yurkiewicz '66...Kaelen skated in 29 games scoring 1 goal and adding 1 assist...Scored against Princeton on 2/11...Honored with the Clarkson 2023 Ironman Award...Named ECAC All Academic.

SOPHOMORE YEAR (2021-22):  Played in 27 games collecting 4 assists...Recorded assists against Harvard, Yale, Quinnipiac, and Union in the series clinching game of the ECAC Quarterfinals...Was +2 on the season...Was named to the ECAC All Academic Team and designated to the Commissioners List for having the teams highest GPA.

FRESHMAN YEAR (2020-21): Played in 21 of 22 games on the Blueline...Recorded 1 assist in a 4-3 OT win at Mercyhurst....+3 Rating for the season.

BEFORE CLARKSON:  A starting defenseman in the USHL for two seasons with the Dubuque Fighting Saints, serving as an assistant captain in 2019-20 … Played in 43 games in 2019-20, recording nine assists and tied for the second best plus/minus for the Saints with a +20 rating.

PERSONAL:  Son of Julia and Patrick Taylor … January 3, 1999 … Shoots left … Aeronautical Engineering major … Father graduated from Clarkson in 1980. Grandfather (mother's father), Robert F. Wrench graduated in 1950 ... Likes to surf and backpack/hike in free time.
