Alex was named the Men's Hockey Equipment Manager in June of 2022. Alex joins Clarkson after serving as the head equipment manager for Canisius College for two season and Lebanon Valley College’s men’s and women’s ice hockey teams for the six seasons before his stint with the Griffs.
In addition to his work with Lebanon Valley, Buckingham also worked for College Hockey Showcases during the 2019-20 season as the director of operations. Buckingham also spent two seasons as an associate head coach with the Hershey Jr. Bears, breaking down game film for player and coach use while also providing on and off ice instruction to players.
Alex is a native of Harrisburg, PA and earned his bachelor’s degree in digital communications at Lebanon Valley in May of 2018.
