Clarkson will head down I-81 for the front end of a home and home series with the Orange of Syracuse University.  Clarkson has faced the 'Cuse 20 times since 2010 and has an 18-1-1 record.  

Clarkson had last weekend off but had plenty to build on after 6-1 and 5-1 wins against Sacred Heart on Sept. 24 & 25th.  Caitrin Lonergan and Gabrielle David both collected 5 points on the weekend and 4 freshman scored their first college goals.  In fact, the freshman class accounted for over 1/3 of the points in the two game sweep of the Pioneers.  

The Orange are coming off a loss and a tie with St. Lawrence along with an exhibition loss to RPI.  'Cuse is projected to finish 2nd in the Pre Season CHA Coaches Poll and they return 16 skaters from last years team.

Clarkson will see the debut of transfer forward, Anne Cherkowski.  Anne is a sophomore that transferred from Minnesota and was out against Sacred Heart due to injury.
