The Knights were able to avoid the post Thanksgiving Turkey blues and take down the University of Maine 4-1.

Gabrielle David's hat trick set the Knights out to a 3-0 lead and which stood up against a late flurry by the Black Bears.

David scored the only two goals of the 1st period at 11:26 and then with just 2 seconds left to put the Knights up 2-0 after one.  David scored 20 seconds into the 2nd and then goaltender Michelle Pasiechnyk kept Maine to just 1 power play goal over the next 39 minutes to secure the win for the Knights.  Michelle ended with 21 saves and the Knights took 30 shots, out shooting an opponent for the 16th time this season. 

Brooke McQuigge was able to get a power play goal late to put the game out of reach, she also contributed an assist.  Caitrin Lonergan assisted on all 4 goals for Clarkson.

The Knights will face off tomorrow at 2:00 pm against Maine to finish the series.
