Clarkson shut out Union 4-0 behind the 28 save effort of freshman walk-on goaltender, Alexa Madrid.  For Madrid, it was her first start as a Golden Knight and her first win & shut out at the collegiate level.

Clarkson scoring was a family affair as Brooke McQuigge scored at 7:03 of the first period from Gabrielle David & Stephanie Markowski,  Sister Kirstyn McQuigge scored at 10:12 of the first from Caitrin Lonergan.  Brooke McQuigge got her 2nd of the game on a great feed from Lonergan.  Caitrin Lonergan would get her 13th goal of the season shorthanded from Gabrielle David.

Clarkson generated 37 shots to once again out shoot a team this season.  

Next up for the Knights will be a rare weekday game as they will travel to Ithaca to take on Cornell.
