The Clarkson Golden Knights head into the start of ECAC play fresh off capturing the Icebreaker Tournament this weekend in Lake Placid. A 3-0 win over SU and a 3-1 win over St. Lawrence gave the Knights the title.  

Anne Cherkowski, Darcie Lappan, and Gabrielle David continue to pace the Knights offensively. Michelle Pasiechnyk and Julia Minotti have combined for 1.23 GAA on the season. 

The Knights moved up to 10th nationally in the DCU/USCHO and remained 11th in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Division I Women's Poll. The ECAC placed 6 teams in the top 15 of the national poll.

Coming into the weekend, Clarkson is 7th in the country for Goals scored (30) 5th nationally in assists (55), and 5th for team points (85). Clarkson is averaging 3 goals per game.  The Knights have out shot their opponents in 9 of their 10 games and have allowed 20 shots or less in 8 games this season.  The Knights have 3 of the top 11 point producers in all of Women's College Hockey for 2022-23.  Sr. Gabrielle David has 4 goals and 10 assists on the season and became the 17th Golden Knight to eclipse 100 career points. Gab is tied for 4th in the Nation for assists and 10th in points.  Transfer Darcie Lappan leads the team and the nation in points (19) and tied for 2nd in the nation for goals scored at 8.  Anne Cherkowski has 9 goals, which leads the team and the nation. 

In the crease, Michelle Pasiechnyk has started 6 games (5-1)in which she has posted a .957% save percentage (5th best in NCAA), 0.856 GAA (6th best in NCAA) and three shutouts. She was named MAC Goaltending ECAC Goalie of the Week in consecutive weeks.  Freshman, Julia Minotti has a 2-1 record in net, posting a .891% save percentage and a 1.62 GAA.
