The Series: The two teams have never faced one another in the regular-season. The original game was set for November, but had to be rescheduled due to a snow event in the Buffalo area.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-5): The Golden Knights are taking care of the ball better than in years past, with just 13 turnovers per game. Clarkson is also shooting an impressive 74.5% from the free throw line as a team, going 120-for-161, nearly doubling the output of its opponents who have made just 61 total free throws. Cassidy Dumont leads the team in scoring with 16.4 points per game and Elaina Porter is adding in 9.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Raelin Burns has played well since the start of the New Year, averaging 13.5 points per game in the two games in 2023.

Key Stats for Buffalo State (1-12): The Bengals are averaging 50.0 points per game as the team has shot just 22.8% from beyond the 3-point arc and has 22.5 turnovers per contest at the midway point of the season.
