Today's 3:00 pm game at Cheel will feature a matchup of two teams ranked in the top ten nationally, when the #6 Golden Knights host the #5 Bobcats.
Both teams come in undefeated, the Knights posting a 7-0-1 record in non conference play and Quinnipiac going 6-0 in non league games and then opening ECAC play with a sweep of Yale and Brown last weekend.
Clarkson is ranked in the top 5 in goals, assists, and team points, yet, does not have a individual player in the top ten, which is a testament to the balanced scoring the Knights have enjoyed this season. Clarkson is lead by
Anne Cherkowski and
Dominique Petrie both with 9 points. The defensive pair of
Haley Winn and
Nicole Gosling also have contributed at both ends of the ice.
This weekend, Clarkson will be honoring the 2014 National Championship team. On Saturday after the game, the team will have a on ice recognition followed by a dinner for the team. Fans can attend a meet n great at 2:00 pm on Saturday to get pictures and autographs in the main lobby of Cheel.
