Lappan's Hat Trick leads Knights to a 5-0 win at Dartmouth

A hat trick by Darcie Lappan would lead the Knights to a 5-0 win in Hanover vs the Big Green of Dartmouth and vault them into 2nd place in the ECAC.

Clarkson opened the scoring with two power play goals in the first period. At 11:11 Anne Cherkowski scored from Haley Winn and Nicole Gosling. Then at 16:04 Darcie Lappan would make it 2 -0, Gosling and Dominque Petrie would assist on the goal.

Lappan would score again, just 1:55 into the 2nd period. Sara Swiderski and Keira Hurry would get credit for the assists. Clarkson would extend the lead to 4-0 on a goal at 6:46 from Sena Catterall, Lappan would earn her 4th point on the night with an assist along with a helper from Jenna Goodwin.

Like the 3rd period, Darcie Lappan would score just minutes into the period to complete her hat trick.

Clarkson would go 2 for 3 on the power play while holding Dartmouth 0 for 2.

Julia Minotti would earn her 2nd straight shut out with 21 saves.

The Knights will travel to Cambridge for a matchup with Harvard on Saturday at 3pm
