The Series: Dating back to 1955, Clarkson is 35-27-7 all-time against the Statesmen, though Hobart won last year's contest 1-0. The Golden Knights last lost at home against Hobart in 2015, but in that three year stretch Clarkson has only come away with one win (1-0-2).

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-1-0, 2-0-0 Liberty League): At the halfway point of the season, Clarkson has already matched its scoring output from 2021 and is within three goals of tying the figure of 2022. Senior Nolan Grady leads the team with nine points on four goals and an assist, while both Jonathan Dereka and Eric McKean each have seven points on three goals and one assist. Defensively, the Knights have allowed only 16 shots on goal in seven games, including just 12 during the team's six-game winning streak.

Key Stats for Hobart (3-4-1, 2-0-0 Liberty League): The Statesmen's sub-.500 record is misleading, as all four of those losses came to teams that are currently ranked or were ranked, including current number-two Mary Washington, #12 University of Rochester, and #22 Muhlenberg. Chris Friedlander (2-1-5) and Quinn Phillips (1-3-5) are tied for the team lead in points, while La Zai Outerbridge is tied for the team's top total in goals (two) and Marcelo Suarez is tied for the team lead in assists (three). Guillermo Castenada Chang has earned both starts in goal during league play and has allowed one goal while stopping four shots.
