Clarkson will open the new year on the road in Central NY when they face Cornell and Colgate. The Big Red come into tonight's match up 11-3-1, ranked #11 in the country and 6th place in the ECAC standings.
The Knights ended 2023 with wins over Dartmouth and Harvard. Clarkson got a shutout from
Julia Minotti and a 3 goal/4 point effort from
Darcie Lappan to take down the Big Green 5-0 and then thumped Harvard 9-1 to end the semester.The Knights come into the weekend 5th in the Pairwise and 5th in the USCHO Poll with 2 first place votes.
Clarkson finished out their non conference portion of the season 11-0-1. They remain the only unbeaten team in Women's Div. I.Clarkson is getting balance across the lineup in both scoring and defensive play. The top two lines have 53 and 48 points making it tough for teams to key in one just one line and if that isn't enough of a difficult match-up, the teams 2nd leading scorers are 2 D, Winn and Gosling. Clarkson is also tops in the nation for a team Goals Against Average thanks to
Michelle Pasiechnyk and
Julia Minotti.
