After a disappointing road trip to Boston College, the Golden Knights will look to rebound with their opening weekend of ECAC play at Quinnipiac tonight at 6:00 pm.
Clarkson fell to the Eagles on Saturday after jumping out to a 3-1 lead, they gave up 3 straight goals to lose 4-3. The loss on the road dropped the Knights 2 spots in the national polls to #5.
Haley Winn was recognized by the ECAC as the
Defender of the Month. Winn was also the runner up for National Player of the Month by the HCA. Winn is the Knights top point producer and a big reason for the Knights 6-2 start the season. Winn accumulated fifteen points through eight games, including four goals and 11 assists. She notched her first career hat-trick on 9/28 at St. Michael's.
Both teams feature players that were on each other's rosters last season.
Laurence Frenette played 3 seasons with the Knights and is now with Quinnipiac andÂ
Madison Chantler is now a Knight after two seasons in Hamden.  Bobcats defender, Mia Lopata is the daughter of former Golden Knights forward Jeremy Lopata.Â
All time the Knights are 30-17-6 vs the Bobcats and swept the season series last year in ECAC play. Quinnipiac comes in with a 6-3-1 record and started ECAC play last weekend with a tie against Yale and an ot loss to Brown.

Clarkson is the 3rd highest scoring team in the nation, with 45 goals and 4th in the nation with 122 total team points.  Clarkson is 3rd in the nation for shutouts with 4. Minotti and Gruber both have 2 each. Quinnipiac leads
the nation in shutouts with five.
