Clarkson will finish the semester with two league games vs the 11th and 12th place teams in the ECAC.
The Knights returned home after capturing the Smashville Championship in Nashville last weekend with wins over St. Thomas and Merrimack.
Clarkson is 5-1 in ECAC play with the fewest games played in the league, so their 13 points have them in 6th place. A weekend sweep could vault the Knights into 3rd place heading into the holiday break.
The Knights are lead by the ECAC Defender of the Month for the 2nd straight month,
Haley Winn. Winn is the team leader in assists and tied for the team lead in points with 25.
Anne Cherkowski also continues to put up great numbers for the Knights, she has 8 goals in her last 9 games, including game winners vs SLU and Brown.
Much like the Pasiechnyk-Minotti tandem last year, the Minotti - Gruber duo continues to keep teams frustrated. Minotti had 7 straight starts going 6-0-1 then Gruber stepped in and shut out Merrimack last Saturday, moving her record on the season to 5-1. The two goalies have a combined 1.48 GAA and 7 shut outs on the season.
Fans are reminded that after tomorrow's game vs Harvard, that there will be a Skate with A Knight event. Fans can bring their skates and join their favorite players on the ice after the game.
