Clarkson will finish the regular season with a homestand at Cheel vs Dartmouth and Harvard.  The Knights have locked up home ice and a top 4 spot in the ECAC playoffs.  Two wins this weekend will also help the Knights take another step towards securing the programs 12th NCAA Tournament Bid.

The Knights come into the weekend 5th in the Pairwise and 3rd in the USCHO Poll.  The Knights sit in 2nd place in the ECAC, 4.5 points out of first.

Clarkson is led by Nicole Gosling in total points and goals scored.  Gosling was named the ECAC Defender of the Week after scoring both OT game winners last weekend.  The Knights have 5 players with 28 points or more and 11 skaters with double digit points.  Every skater with 20 games played or more has recorded a point this season.

Clarkson has clinched at least the #4 seed already.  They still have the ability to win the regular season, but need a weekend sweep in regulation and at least a regulation loss and an another non regulation win from Colgate, the Raiders are at Yale and Brown.  To clinch the #2 seed Clarkson needs a regulation win and SLU reg/OT loss or an OT win and SLU regulation loss.  The #3 seed can be clinched tonight with any result besides regulation loss OR any Cornell result besides regulation win.  This year, the Women's ECAC playoffs has added a first round where 5 thru 12 play a first round and seeds 1-4 get a first round bye. 

The Knights have not allowed the Big Green a goal against in their last 3 meetings, while averaging 4.6 goals over the last 5 meetings.  Dartmouth's last win vs the Knights came in February of 2019, a 3-2 overtime game.
