Box Score
Making his second start of the season, sophomore goaltender Ville Runola (Raisio, Finland) made 30 saves as the Clarkson University Hockey team picked up a hard earned ECAC Hockey point on the road with a 2-2 tie at Yale in the opening game of the 2014-15 league campaign in New Haven, CT on Friday night.

The Golden Knights, who have skated to three ties in the last five games, will look to break out of a seven-game winless stretch (0-4-3) when they battle Brown in Providence, RI on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Clarkson, which last won on October 11, owns a 2-4-3 overall record.

Clarkson fell behind 1-0 early in the first at Ingalls Rink when Yale's (1-0-2) Matt Killian scored at 5:36, shortly after the Bulldogs had killed off the Green and Gold's lone power play.

A pair of goals 89 seconds apart early in the second period put the Knights on top at 2-1. Senior Joe Zarbo (Grand Island, NY) forced a turnover in the Yale end and scored on a quick wrist shot for an unassisted tally at 4:40 for his team-high fifth goal of the season.
