Pierog Hit Featured on Olbermann's ESPN2 Show

Clarkson University Hockey freshman Nic Pierog's (Georgetown, ONT) glass-breaking check was featured on Keith Olbermann's ESPN2 show.

Early in the Golden Knights' 5-2 win over Rensselaer at Cheel Arena on Saturday, February 7, Pierog checked Engineer defenseman Luke Curadi into the glass, shattering the pane at 3:13.

A video of the hit was posted on YouTube by Watertown Daily Times Sports writer Cap Carey and highlighted on the tongue-in-cheek Olbermann's The World's Worst Person In Sports (Feb.11) ESPN2.
