Guided by sixth-year head coach Casey Jones and assistants Phil Roy '00 and Josh Hauge, Clarkson stands at 6-5-1 overall and is tied for third place in the ECAC Hockey standings with a 3-1 league mark. The Green and Gold are coming off a weekend sweep in NY's Capital District region for the second consecutive year. On Friday, the Knights dominated play against Rensselaer over the final 40 minutes at Houston Field House in Troy and skated away with a 5-2 victory over their long-time rival. Clarkson came out strong on Saturday against 15th-ranked Union and led throughout en route to a 3-1 win at Messa Rink for its second consecutive triumph in Schenectady after having not won on the Dutchmen's home ice since March 6, 2005 prior to last season.

•    Clarkson owns a convincing 63-19-8 lead in the all-time series against Brown, but the series, which first began in 1952, has been fairly tight over the past 10 games with the Knights holding a slim 5-4-1 advantage. Six of those games have been decided by one goal or less. The Bears snapped a five-game losing skid against the Green and Gold with a 5-2 victory in Providence on February 19 in their last meeting.
•    In the rivalry against Yale, which first began in in 1930, the Knights hold a commanding 72-38-6 lead. Clarkson holds a 2-1-2 mark in the last five games, but the Bulldogs snapped a four-game winless stretch (0-2-2) with a 3-1 victory in New Haven on February 20.
•    After missing last weekend because of illness, Clarkson's freshman goaltender Jake Kielly came through with two solid efforts on the road to backstop the Knights to a weekend sweep in NY's Capital District. He made 22 saves at RPI and followed with 36 saves on 37 shots in the victory over Union handing the Dutchmen their first league loss and first home defeat of the season.  He payed a leading role in Clarkson's strong penalty kill against the Dutchmen, allowing Union just one power-play goal on 10 chances. Through 10 games, Kielly posts a .913 save percentage and a 2.68 goals against average en route to a 5-4-1 record with one shutout. Kielly was named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week for the second time in his rookie campaign.
•    Balance and Depth. Nineteen different Golden Knights have accounted for Clarkson's 41 goals through the first 12 games. Twenty players have recorded at least one point.
•    Clarkson's top two scorers, senior Jordan Boucher and junior Sam Vigneault were shut down by the opponents over the weekend with just one assist between them, but the other players picked up the slack as seven Knights accounted for the eight goals in the weekend sweep at RPI and Union.
•    Freshman Nico Sturm, scored his first two collegiate goals over the weekend with one tally in each victory as Clarkson's only multiple goal scorer in the Capital District sweep. Sturm is Clarkson's fifth leading scorer with eight points, including six assists. He was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week.
• Clarkson Class of 2020 is the top producing freshman class in ECAC Hockey and is fourth overall in the NCAA. The Knights seven rookie skaters have accounted for 34% of Clarkson's scoring with 37 points on 10 goals and 27 assists through the first 12 games.
• Freshman Devin Brosseau is tied for second on the team in scoring with 10 points, and is the Knights' leading playmaker with nine assists. He also tops Clarkson in plus/minus at +9. Brosseau was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month for October.
• Rookie Sheldon Rempal is Clarkson's fourth-leading scorer with nine points on three goals and six assists. He assisted on all three goals in Saturday's win at Union.
• The Freshman Line centered by Sturm (2-4), left wing Brosseau (1-5) and right wing Rempal (3-5) has accounted for six goals and 14 assists over the past eight games since skating together starting with the game at Providence (10/21).
• After missing the first nine games with an injury, junior defenseman Terrance Amorosa has made his presence felt in the Clarkson lineup over the last three games. He scored the opening goal, a power-play tally, in the win at RPI after posting two assists in his first came back, the 4-2 win over Princeton (11/5).  Amorosa has a +6 plus/minus rating during Clarkson's current three-game winning streak.
• Sophomore forward Juho Jokiharju continues to impress. After skating in just five games with no points as a freshman, the Finnish native has six points (3-3) in eight games this season. In the win at RPI, he set up three goals to become the first Knight to post a three-assist game since Matt Zarbo '14 recorded three in a 5-1 win at Harvard on January 25, 2013. Jokiharju's mark did not stand for long, however, as Rempal earned three assists the next night in the win at Union.
• Boucher leads the Knights in scoring with 12 points, including a team-high seven goals. He is Clarkson's active career scoring leader with 54 points (24-30) in 88 games.
• Vigneault is tied with Brosseau for second on the team in points with 10 (3-7).  Vigneault has taken the most faceoffs for the Knights, winning 51.5% of his draws (118-111).
• Senior captain James de Haas leads the Knights in scoring from the blueline with seven points on two goals and five assists.
• Senior Troy Josephs has made a big impact during the three-game winning streak with three goals, including the game-winners in the victories over Princeton and RPI. He also tallied an assist against the Engineers. Through 11 games, Josephs has four goals and three assists.
• Senior A.J. Fossen scored the Knights' final goal in the win at Union. It was only his fourth even-strength goal over his last 11 scores. Fossen has three goals, two on the power play, and two assists this year.
• Junior assistant captain Brett Gervais posted his first career game-winning goal with the deciding score at Union. Through 12 games, he has two goals and three assists.
• Freshman Haralds Egle enjoyed hist first multiple-point career game with a goal and an assist on the game-winner against RPI.  In eight games, he has two goals and one assist.
• Junior defenseman Tyko Karjalainen tallied his second goal of the season and second career score in Friday's win at RPI.
• Clarkson is 4-0-1 on the road and 2-5 at home this season. The Knights were 5-11-1 in road games last season and 15-2-2 at Cheel in 2015-16.
