In a game that totaled over 70 minutes in penalties the Knights dropped the second game of the weekend, 4-1 in Tempe.
Clarkson fell behind 1-0 in the first period when the Sun Devils had a 5 on 3 power play opportunity. The Sun Devils would add two more goals in the second period, to go up 3-0 after two.
The Knights pulled to within two goals when
Chris Klack scored at 11:38 of the third period. Clarkson then got a power play and pulled Haider for the extra attacker, but ASU was able to clear the zone and ultimately score a short handed empty net goal.
