Box Score Clarkson came into the night looking to get their first win of the season against the Lakers of Mercyhurst from Atlantic Hockey, but an overtime goal from Mercyhurst was the difference on the night.

A delay of game penalty off the face off put the Knights on the power play where Anthony Romano was able to dig the puck out of the corner and feed Noah Beck who was able to get the Knights on the board after a great give and go with Ayrton Martino.  

In the 2nd period the Knights were assessed a 5 min major in which Mercyhurst was able to get the equalizer.  

Late in the 3rd period the Knights had great pressure which lead to a power play with 6 seconds left in the game.  The power play carried over into overtime in which the Knights were unable to score, which led to a Mercyhurst rush and the game winner, giving the Lakers their first win on the season.
