For the second straight night Clarkson was able to score early in overtime, and with the win tonight they have advanced to the ECAC Semi Finals in Lake Placid next weekend. Tonight's win was number 200 for coach

Lukas Kaelble opened and closed the scoring for the Knights. His point shot at 2:39 put the Knights up 1-0.
Michael Underwood made it 2-0 at 12:09 and the Knights held a 12-1 shot advantage at that point. After what was seemingly a dominant period, the Dutchman popped a late goal in the first to make it 2-1 going into the intermission.
Union tied the game in the second, but another D man for the Knights scored on a point shot when
Tommy Pasanen made it 3-2 at 17:35 of the second.
In the third, Union got the lone goal to tie it up and for the second game in a row, the teams needed an extra session to solve the outcome. Kaelble was able to get a shot through traffic at 3:14 of ot to send the Knights on to the next round of the ECAC playoffs.
Jacob Mucitelli made 25 saves for his 8th win on the season. Clarkson held Union to 0 for 2 on the power play and went 1 for 2 on the man advantage.
Next up for the Knights is still in question as two series will play a game 3 tomorrow.
