The Golden Knights had one of those games were they out shot an opponent and dominated the opening period of play, but could not get pucks to go their way and fell to Union, 5-1.

In the 3rd, Union would score 3:38 into the period, on 5 minute major power play that carried over from the 2nd period. Â
Clarkson would get 3 straight power plays including a 5 on 3 but were not able to pull any closer and Union would get their 3rd power play goal of the night at 15:21.
