Dartmouth would jump out to an early lead when Cam McDonald would make it 1-0 just 3:28 into the opening period on the power play. Despite being down a goal, the Knights would out shoot Dartmouth 11-5 in the period.
Dartmouth would repeat the process in the middle frame when they scored 3:33 into the period, this time from Trym Lokkeberg to make it 2-0. Dartmouth would flip the script from the shot totals standpoint and out shoot the Knights 11- 5 in the period.
In the 3rd the Knights would have a power play and several chances to pull within one, but an empty net goal at 18:08 would seal it for the Big Green and they would hold on for the 3-0 win.
Austin Roden would make 24 saves on the night. Clarkson would go 0 for 3 on the power play and give up 1 goal on 2 chances for Dartmouth.
