On October 28, 2010 former Golden Knight All-America, Craig Conroy became the 255th hockey player all-time to skate in 1,000 National Hockey League games when his Calgary Flames hosted the Colorado Avalanche. The Potsdam, NY native, who starred at Clarkson from1990-94, played his first NHL game on February 15, 1995 with the Montreal Candians at the Hartford Whalers.  Frequently labeled as “the nicest guy in hockey”, Conroy has been nominationed for both the Bill Masterton and King Clancy NHL awards. As well, Conroy was awarded the Ralph T. Scurfield Humanitarian Award last season and the J.R. McCaig Award for the 2008-09 campaign. Conroy has also been a finalist twice for the NHL Selke Trophy, in 1998 while with St. Louis, and again in 2002 as a member of the Flames.   Conroy year-by-year statistics
