The Clarkson University Women's Hockey team hoisted a postseason championship trophy two weeks ago after skating to the program's first ECAC Hockey Championship Tournament title on March 5. The Golden Knights will be striving to add an even bigger prize to the Cheel Arena display case this weekend.

After persevering through the wintery elements in Northern NY to make its way to the Midwest on Wednesday, Clarkson is eager to get things started in its bid to claim its second National Championship title in four years.

The Green and Gold will take on defending National Champion Minnesota in the second semifinal game on Friday at Family Arena in St. Charles, MO, slated to start at 9:00 p.m. EST. In the first game on Friday, #1 Wisconsin will face off vs. Boston College at 6:00 p.m.

The semifinal winners will advance to Sunday's Championship Game, with face off at 2:00 p.m.

Making its fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and second straight Frozen Four showing, the Knights own a 30-4-5 overall record and own the longest current winning streak in the country at nine games.
