On ALS Awareness Night at Cheel, the Knights were able to out shoot an opponent again for the 23rd time, but Amanda Rampado held strong and the Engineers were able to grab an OT win against the Knights.

RPI was able to break through at 3:19, when Marah Wagner scored on the power play.  It remained 1-0 into the second period until 9:39 when Stephanie Markowski scored her 4th of the year from Brooke McQuigge & Gabrielle David.  The Knights out shot RPI 14-2 in that second period. 

While the Knights out shot the Engineers 14 to 6 in the third period, they could not take the lead and headed to overtime.  David and Lonergan had a 2-1 rush but were unable to get a shot off and on the ensuing rush RPI's Taylor Larson was able to tuck a shot under the cross bar to win the game for RPI just :48 seconds into overtime.  With the OT loss the Knights will get 1 league point.  

Amanda Zeglen made 13 saves in the loss.  Clarkson was 0 for 4 on the power play and killed off 1 of 2 chances for the Engineers.

Clarkson will host Union tomorrow at 3:00 pm.
