Michelle Pasiechnyk earned her nation leading 6th shut out of the season and Brooke McQuigge notched her first goal of the season to lead Clarkson past Princeton today at Hobey Baker Rink.

Clarkson took an early 1-0 lead at 5:54 of the 1st period when the Captain, McQuigge scored from Olivia Hanson and Anne Cherkowski.  

Then Michelle Pasiechnyk and the Knights team defense did the rest of the heavy lifting keeping the Tigers off the scoreboard despite being out shot 34 to 26.  Pasiechnyk had to be sharp in the final frame as Princeton threw 13 shots on net.  

For the Knights they are now 3-3 in ECAC play which has them in 5th place for now. 

Next weekend the Knights will be at home to face Maine of Hockey East for a two game series at Cheel.
