A sign of a good team is one that can bounce back after a loss and tonight against Harvard, the Knights withstood some early pressure from the Crimson and worked their way to a 5-1 win.
Clarkson would give Harvard two early power play chances but didn't give up a goal despite heavy pressure from the Crimson. Up until the 13-minute minute mark of the period, Harvard had a 7-0 shot advantage, but Clarkson's first shot counted as
Jenna Goodwin put the Knights up 1-0 at 13:18. The Knights would take a 2-0 lead just minutes later when
Nicole Gosling would get her 2nd of the season.
In the third period,
Gabrielle David would redirect a Hanson point shot to make it 4-0 and then
Olivia Hanson would get a shot through at 16:24 to make it 5-0.
The Knights leap Harvard in the standings with the win and now occupy 5th place, just a point shy of Cornell and Yale.
