Michelle Pasiechnyk would be assed a major and game misconduct for contact to the head.Â
Julia Minottii would come in and finish the period and only allow 1 goal on 13 shots.Â
Â
Â
Early in the 3rd period, the Cats would re take the lead, but at the 6:38 mark,
Haley Winn would tie the game for the Knights.
Â

Â
In overtime, no team had any significant chances, leading the game to a shoot out.
Â
While the ECAC does not conduct shoot outs, Hockey East does, and as the home team, UVM would get a chance to get the win in the extra session. UVM scored on their first attempt, while the Knights scored on their second chance. Tied at 1 goal apiece, UVM scored on their 3rd chance, leaving
Haley Winn to need a goal to keep the rounds going, but her shot was saved by McPherson and the Cats get the win.
Â
The shoot out will be go as a tie against the Knights record for Pairwise consideration, while UVM will get the win.
Â
Julia Minotti finished with 12 saves in relief of Pasiechnyk. Clarkson did not have any chances on the power play and held UVM to 0 for 4 with the advantage.
