Kira Hurley earned her third ECAC Hockey League Goaltender of the Week award of the season after making 34 saves in the Clarkson University Women’s Hockey team’s 2-0 victory over Number-one ranked St. Lawrence University on December 2. In the process Hurley posted her NCAA-best sixth shutout of the season and handed the top-ranked Saints their first loss of the year. In the win, she made 11 saves in both the first and second periods and finished with 12 more stops in the final 20 minutes as she shut down the sixth-rated offense in the nation.  In Clarkson's last five games, Hurley has shut out two of the four teams (SLU, Dartmouth) who participated in last year's NCAA Frozen Four.
