In front of a great alumni contingent on campus for COGO (Cold Out Gold Out Winter Alumni Event) and on Senior night, Clarkson struck for 4 goals to shut out Brown 4-0.
Luke Santerno kicked off the celebration of the Sr. class by scoring the first two goals of the game including a power play goal at 9:18 of the first period.
Keeping with the theme, Seniors
Anthony Callin and
Jamie Collins added goals in the second period and the third period respectively, to lead the Knights to a 4-0 win. Seniors
Lukas Kaelble,
Brian Hurley,
Michael Underwood, and
Jack Jacome also added assists in the game.
Jacob Mucitelli finished with 21 saves to move his record to 7-0-1.
Clarkson finished 2-4 on the man advantage, while holding Brown to no goals on 2 attempts. In two games this season, Clarkson has beat Brown 9-0.
Clarkson finished in second place in the ECAC for the third straight season. With the weekend off, the Knights will get to rest and heal up any late season bumps and bruises and prepare for the ECAC Quarterfinal series on March 11 and 12.
