A pair of goals from
Ayrton Martino was enough to give the Knights a 2-1 win at Yale and stretch the Knights winning streak to 3 games.
Early in the 2nd period the Knights would extend the lead to 2-0 when Martino got his 2nd of the game.
Eric Ciccolini shot would tip up over the Yale goalie, and Martino was able to knock the puck out of the air and into the net.
In the 3rd period, Yale would pull within 1 when Gammill scored at 8:33. With just under 2 minutes left to play, Yale would take an interference penalty allowing the Knights to try to finish the game on the power play. After knocking 1:40 off of the clock, the Knights would make things a bit more dramatic as Rickwood was called for a hooking penalty with 20 seconds left to give the Bulldogs an offensive zone faceoff, allowing them to pull their goalie to make it a 5-4 advantage. Gosselin was able to win the draw, allowing McFaul to clear and Clarkson was able to hang on for a 2-1 win and a big road sweep in the ECAC, their first since Feb. 4 & 5, 2022 when they swept this same road trip.
Austin Roden made 16 saves, as the Knights out shot the Bulldogs 27 to 17. Clarkson was 0 for 4 with the power play and 0 for 3 on the penalty kill.
Clarkson will have the weekend off to enjoy the American Thanksgiving (the Canadians already celebrated theirs) and then will host Harvard and Dartmouth on Dec. 1st and 2nd.
